What happens at the border

Apply for eVisa online
Go to the official Cameroon eVisa website. Fill in your personal and travel details, upload a passport photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the fee (around $80–$120 depending on processing speed). You'll receive a confirmation email.

Wait for approval
Processing takes 3–7 business days. Check your email (including spam) for the eVisa PDF. Print at least two copies — one to hand over at immigration, one as backup.

Prepare your documents for travel
Pack your printed eVisa, passport, return ticket, and hotel booking in your carry-on. Keep a digital copy on your phone as well.

Arrive at Cameroon immigration
At Yaoundé Nsimalen or Douala International Airport, go to the immigration desk for eVisa holders. Hand over your passport and printed eVisa. The officer may ask for your return ticket and hotel address. Answer clearly. You'll receive an entry stamp valid for up to 30 days.
