eVisa processing times vary

What happens at the border

1
Apply for the eVisa online
Go to the official Equatorial Guinea eVisa portal (or the embassy website if no portal is active). Fill in your personal and passport details, upload a passport-style photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the fee online. Processing time varies — apply at least 2 weeks before departure.
2
Receive and save your eVisa
Once approved, you'll get the eVisa by email. Print a paper copy and also save a PDF on your phone. Border control at Malabo International Airport (SSG) or Bata Airport (BSG) will ask to see it.
3
Prepare your documents for arrival
Have your passport, eVisa, return ticket, and accommodation confirmation ready. Keep them in your hand luggage. At immigration, you'll queue at the 'Foreign Passports' counter. The officer will stamp your passport and may ask a few questions about your stay.
