Visa on arrival is the easiest option
Polish passport holders don't need to apply for an e-visa or visit an embassy. Just show up with the right documents and pay at the airport. It's faster and more reliable than online applications.
Keep your return ticket handy
Immigration officers often ask to see your onward ticket. Have a screenshot saved on your phone — don't rely on finding it in your email while standing at the counter.

What happens at the border

1
Arrive at Muscat International Airport
After landing, follow signs to 'Visa on Arrival' counters before immigration. Polish passport holders use the general queue.
2
Fill out the visa application form
You'll get a short form at the counter. Fill in your passport details, flight info, and hotel address. Staff can help if needed.
3
Pay the visa fee
Hand over your passport and the form. Pay 20 OMR (cash or card). Keep the receipt — you'll need it later.
4
Receive your visa sticker
The officer will stamp a visa sticker into your passport. Check the validity dates before walking away. It's usually valid for 30 days from issue.
5
Proceed to immigration
Join the immigration queue. Present your passport with the visa sticker, your boarding pass, and your return ticket. You'll be asked a few questions (purpose of visit, where staying). Answer honestly.
6
Collect luggage and exit
After immigration, head to baggage claim, then customs. You're free to enter Oman.
