Apply for the eVisa online
Go to the official Indian eVisa website (indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/tvoa.html). Fill in your personal and passport details, upload a passport-style photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the fee (around $25–$100 depending on visa type and processing speed). Submit and wait for approval — usually within 72 hours.

Print or save the eVisa approval
Once approved, you'll receive an email with the eVisa document. Print a copy and also save a PDF on your phone. Immigration at Indian airports will ask to see it.

Arrive at an Indian airport with eVisa facilities
The eVisa is valid for entry at 28 designated airports, including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Goa, and Kochi. At immigration, join the 'eVisa' queue. Have your passport, eVisa printout, and return ticket ready. The officer will stamp your passport and you're in.

After immigration, collect your luggage from the carousel. If you have nothing to declare, go through the green channel. If you have goods over the duty-free limit, use the red channel.
