Entry requirements

RequirementDetailsStatus
eVisa application
DR Congo eVisa
Apply for a DR Congo eVisa at visa.gouv.cd before you travel. The online form asks for a passport scan, a passport photo, and your travel itinerary. Processing takes 3–5 business days — do not book non-refundable flights until you have the approval email.Apply for eVisaRequired
Valid passport
Must cover your entire stay
Your Serbian passport needs at least 6 months of validity beyond your planned departure date from DR Congo. Airlines at Belgrade and connecting hubs check this before letting you board.Required
Return or onward ticket
Outbound travel proof
Immigration officers at N'djili Airport in Kinshasa routinely ask for a printed or digital onward ticket. Have a return flight or a ticket to your next destination ready — they will not let you through without it.Required
Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or invitation letter
Carry a printed hotel reservation or a letter of invitation from your host in DR Congo. Officers sometimes ask for it during the visa application process or at the border.Recommended
Proof of funds
Bank statement or cash
Have a recent bank statement or enough cash (USD or EUR) to cover your stay. Immigration may ask how you plan to support yourself — $100–$200 per day is a safe benchmark.Recommended
No visa on arrival
Serbian passport holders cannot get a visa on arrival in DR Congo. You must have an approved eVisa before you fly. Airlines will check this before boarding.
Yellow fever vaccine required
You must show a valid yellow fever vaccination certificate (yellow card) at immigration. Get the vaccine at least 10 days before travel. No card = possible denial of entry.
