Serbian passport holders need an eVisa to enter Cameroon. It covers tourism and business, and you must apply online before traveling. As of 2026, the process is straightforward if you have your documents ready.

Entry requirements

RequirementDetailsStatus
eVisa application
Cameroon eVisa
Apply for a Cameroon eVisa at the official portal before you travel. The application asks for a digital photo, passport scan, and flight itinerary. Processing takes 3 to 5 business days, and you receive the approval by email — print it and carry it with your passport.Apply for eVisaRequired
Valid passport
Must be valid for the duration of stay
Your Serbian passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended departure date from Cameroon. Airlines check this at check-in, and immigration officers enforce it strictly.Required
Return or onward ticket
Proof of onward travel
Immigration officers at Yaoundé and Douala airports routinely ask for a return or onward ticket. Have a printed copy or a digital version ready on your phone.Required
Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or host invitation
Carry a hotel reservation or a letter of invitation from your host in Cameroon. Officers rarely ask for it, but having it avoids delays.Recommended
Proof of funds
Bank statement or cash
Have a recent bank statement or enough cash (around 200,000 XAF) to show you can support yourself during your stay. Officers rarely check, but it helps if questioned.Recommended
Yellow fever vaccine is mandatory
You must show a valid yellow fever vaccination certificate (yellow card) at immigration. Without it, you may be denied entry or forced to get vaccinated on the spot at your own expense.
eVisa is for single entry only
The eVisa allows one entry. If you leave Cameroon and want to return, you'll need to apply for a new eVisa.

What happens at the border

1
Apply for the eVisa online
Go to the official Cameroon eVisa website (evisacameroon.com). Fill in your personal details, upload a passport-style photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the fee (around $80–$120 depending on processing speed) with a credit card. Submit and wait for approval — usually 3–7 business days.
2
Receive and print your eVisa
Once approved, you'll get an email with a PDF attachment. Print at least two copies — one for your bag, one for your carry-on. Also save a digital copy on your phone.
3
Check in for your flight
At the airport in Serbia, show your eVisa printout at the check-in counter. The airline will verify it before issuing your boarding pass. Have your return ticket and accommodation confirmation ready too.
4
Arrive at Yaoundé or Douala airport
After landing, follow signs to 'Immigration' or 'Visa on Arrival' (though you already have the eVisa). Present your passport, eVisa printout, and return ticket. The officer will stamp you in. Expect a short queue — 15–30 minutes is typical.
5
Collect your luggage and exit
After immigration, head to baggage claim, then customs. There's usually no customs check for personal items. Exit into the arrivals hall.
