Russian passport holders can visit Fiji without a visa for up to 120 days. This policy is in effect for 2026, making Fiji a straightforward destination for tourism or short visits. Ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months from your arrival date.

Entry requirements

RequirementDetailsStatus
Valid passport
Must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your departure date from Fiji
Your passport needs at least 6 months of validity remaining from the day you leave Fiji. Airlines check this at check-in — if your passport expires sooner, you will be denied boarding. Fiji Immigration also requires at least one blank page for the entry stamp.Required
Return or onward ticket
Proof of departure from Fiji
Immigration officers at Nadi International Airport routinely ask for a return or onward ticket before granting entry. Have a printed copy or a screenshot of your booking ready. A ticket to any destination outside Fiji works — it does not have to be back to Russia.Recommended
Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or invitation letter
Officers sometimes ask where you are staying, especially if you arrive without a pre-booked hotel. A printed hotel confirmation or a letter from a host in Fiji covers this. Having it ready avoids delays at the counter.Recommended
Proof of funds
Evidence you can support yourself during your stay
Fiji Immigration can ask for proof you have enough money for your trip. A bank statement showing a few hundred Fijian dollars or a credit card with available limit usually satisfies them. No set minimum amount is published, but having at least 500 FJD equivalent is a safe bet.Recommended
Passport validity counts from arrival
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the day you land in Fiji, not from when you leave. If your passport expires in 5 months, you'll be denied entry.
No visa, no fee, no hassle
Russian passport holders get 120 days visa-free. No application, no fee, no waiting. Just show up with a valid passport and onward ticket.

What happens at the border

1
Arrival at Nadi International Airport
Most flights land at Nadi (NAN). After deplaning, follow signs to 'Immigration'. The queue can be slow during peak hours (morning and evening). Have your passport and return ticket screenshot ready.
2
Present documents at immigration counter
Hand over your passport. The officer may ask your purpose of visit, how long you're staying, and where you're staying. Answer briefly and honestly. They rarely ask for proof of funds, but it's good to have a bank statement or card handy.
3
Receive entry stamp
The officer will stamp your passport with the date of entry and the allowed stay (usually 120 days). Check the stamp before leaving the counter. If the dates look wrong, ask for clarification immediately.
4
Collect luggage and proceed to customs
After immigration, go to baggage claim. Customs is usually straightforward for tourists. Declare any goods over the duty-free limit. No arrival declaration form is needed.
