Arrive at South African immigration
At Johannesburg OR Tambo, Cape Town, or Durban airports, join the 'Foreign Passports' queue. Hand over your passport and return ticket if asked. The officer will stamp you in for up to 90 days. The process usually takes 2-5 minutes per person.

Collect luggage and proceed to customs
After immigration, pick up your bags from the carousel. You may be asked to declare goods over ZAR 5,000 (about $270) or restricted items. Use the green channel if you have nothing to declare.
