What happens at the border

1
Apply for the eVisa
Go to the official Cuban eVisa website or use a trusted visa service. Complete the online form, upload a passport-style photo and a copy of your passport bio page. Pay the fee (if any) and submit. Processing takes 3–7 business days, so apply at least 2 weeks before your trip.
2
Receive eVisa approval
Once approved, you'll get an eVisa document via email. Print a copy and save a digital version on your phone. Show it at check-in and upon arrival in Cuba.
3
Prepare supporting documents
Gather your passport (valid 6+ months), return ticket, first-night accommodation confirmation, and travel insurance. Keep digital copies on your phone.
4
Arrive at Cuban immigration
At the airport in Cuba (usually Havana or Varadero), go to the immigration counter. Present your passport, eVisa, and return ticket. The officer may ask for your accommodation address. Answer clearly. You'll get an entry stamp valid for up to 30 days.
