Must be valid for the duration of your stay
Your passport needs to be valid for at least the full 60 days you plan to stay in Ghana. Airlines at Kigali International Airport will check this before boarding.Required

Proof of departure from Ghana
Immigration officers at Kotoka International Airport routinely ask for a return or onward ticket. Have a printed copy or a digital version on your phone ready.Recommended

Carry a printed hotel reservation or a letter of invitation from your host in Ghana. Officers occasionally ask for this during peak travel periods.Recommended
Proof of funds
Show you can support yourself
Have bank statements or a credit card ready to show you have at least $500 USD for your stay. Immigration rarely asks, but budget airlines sometimes check at check-in.Recommended
Passport validity counts from entry date
