Arrive at Chișinău International Airport
Most travellers fly into Chișinău (KIV). After landing, follow signs to 'Border Control' or 'Passport Control'. There are separate queues for EU/EEA and other nationals — join the EU/EEA line.

Present your passport
Hand over your passport to the border officer. They'll check the photo page, verify your validity, and may ask your purpose of visit and where you're staying. Answer clearly and briefly.

Receive entry stamp
The officer will stamp your passport with the entry date and the number of days you're allowed to stay (up to 90). Check the stamp before walking away — if it's wrong, ask for correction immediately.

Collect luggage and exit
After passport control, head to baggage claim, then customs. There's usually nothing to declare for personal items. Exit into the arrivals hall.
