What happens at the border

1
Apply for the eVisa online
Go to the official Pakistan Online Visa System (visa.nadra.gov.pk) and fill out the application. You'll need to upload a scanned copy of your passport bio page, a digital photo, and pay the fee online. Processing typically takes 5–7 business days, but can be longer during peak times.
2
Receive your eVisa by email
Once approved, you'll get an email with your eVisa attached as a PDF. Print it out and also save a copy on your phone. Double-check that your name and passport number match exactly.
3
Check in for your flight
At the airport, show your eVisa and passport at check-in. The airline will verify your visa before issuing a boarding pass. If you don't have the eVisa, you won't be allowed to board.
4
Arrive at a Pakistani airport
You'll land at Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, or another international airport. Follow the 'Foreigners' or 'Visa' signs to immigration. Present your passport and eVisa. The officer will stamp your passport with your entry date and allowed stay.
5
Collect your bags and exit
After the stamp, proceed to baggage claim and then customs. If you have nothing to declare, walk through the green channel. You're in!
