What happens at the border

1
Arrive at Hamad International Airport (DOH)
Follow signs to 'Arrivals' and join the queue for passport control. There are separate lanes for GCC residents and other nationalities — as a Swedish passport holder, use the general lane.
2
Present your passport at the counter
Hand over your passport. The officer will check your validity (6 months) and may ask about your stay. Answer clearly. They'll stamp your passport with a 30-day entry permit.
3
Collect your luggage and exit
After the stamp, proceed to baggage claim, then customs. Usually no forms to fill — the entry permit is issued automatically at the counter.
