Apply for the e-visa online
Go to the official Chadian e-visa portal at https://e-visa.td/ and fill out the application. You'll need to upload a digital passport photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the visa fee online — typically around €70–€100 depending on your nationality. Processing takes 5–10 business days, so apply at least 2 weeks before your trip.

Receive and print your visa
Once approved, you'll get a PDF visa by email. Print two copies — one to present at check-in and one for immigration on arrival. Keep a digital copy on your phone as backup.

Arrive at N'Djamena International Airport
After landing, follow signs to 'Immigration' or 'Visa on Arrival' (even though you already have a visa). Present your passport, printed visa, return ticket, and accommodation proof. The officer will stamp you in. The whole process usually takes 15–30 minutes.

Get your luggage and exit
After immigration, collect your bags from the carousel. There's a customs check — declare any large amounts of cash or electronics. Then walk through the green channel if you have nothing to declare.
