Apply for the e-visa online

Pay the visa fee online — typically around €70–€100 depending on your nationality. Processing takes 5–10 business days, so apply at least 2 weeks before your trip.

Receive and print your visa
Once approved, you'll get a PDF visa by email. Print two copies — one to present at check-in and one for immigration on arrival. Keep a digital copy on your phone as backup.

Arrive at N'Djamena International Airport
After landing, follow signs to 'Immigration' or 'Visa on Arrival' (even though you already have a visa). Present your passport, printed visa, return ticket, and accommodation proof. The officer will stamp you in. The whole process usually takes 15–30 minutes.

Get your luggage and exit
