What happens at the border

1
Arrive at Muscat or other Omani airport
After landing, follow the signs to 'Passport Control'. There's a separate queue for GCC nationals and sometimes for visa-free arrivals — look for the 'All Passports' or 'Foreigners' line.
2
Present your passport to the immigration officer
Hand over your passport. The officer will check your validity, may ask about your stay, and will stamp you in. No forms to fill, no fee to pay.
3
Collect your luggage and exit
After the stamp, you're free to collect your bags and walk through the green 'Nothing to Declare' channel unless you have goods to declare.
