Passport validity is strictly enforced

Land at Muscat International Airport
After deplaning, follow signs to 'Arrivals' and then 'Visa on Arrival' counters. These are clearly marked and usually have short queues.

Fill out the visa application form
At the counter, you'll get a simple form asking for your name, passport number, flight details, and hotel address. Fill it in with a pen (bring your own just in case).

Pay the visa fee
The visa on arrival costs 20 OMR (about €48). Pay in cash (Omani Rial, Euros, or US Dollars) or by credit card. Keep the receipt.

Get your passport stamped
Hand over your passport, completed form, and payment. The officer will issue a visa sticker and stamp your entry. This takes 2–5 minutes.
