Slovenian passport holders need an eVisa to enter Pakistan in 2026. The application is online via the official government portal, and you must complete it before travel — there are no visa-on-arrival options for Slovenian citizens.

Entry requirements

RequirementDetailsStatus
eVisa application
Apply before travel
Apply for a Pakistan eVisa at visa.nadra.gov.pk at least 7–10 business days before departure. The online form asks for a scanned passport photo, passport bio page, and proof of accommodation. Processing takes 3–5 working days for most nationalities; check the portal for the fee (varies by nationality).Apply for eVisaRequired
Valid passport
Must be valid on arrival
Your Slovenian passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended departure date from Pakistan. Airlines check this at check-in — if your passport expires sooner, you will be denied boarding.Required
Return or onward ticket
Required for entry
Immigration officers at Pakistani airports routinely ask for a confirmed return or onward ticket. Have a printed copy or a screenshot ready. If you overstay, you'll pay a fine of 20,000 PKR (~$70 USD) per month.Required
Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or invitation letter
You may be asked to show a hotel reservation or a letter of invitation from your host in Pakistan. A simple booking confirmation from Booking.com or Agoda works. Keep a digital copy on your phone.Recommended
Proof of funds
Bank statement or cash
Carry a bank statement from the last 3 months showing at least $500 USD (or equivalent in PKR). Immigration rarely asks, but budget airlines sometimes check at check-in.Recommended
No visa-on-arrival for Slovenian citizens
You must have an approved eVisa before you fly. There is no way to get a visa at the airport. Airlines will check your visa at check-in and may deny boarding without it.
eVisa is for tourism and business only
The standard eVisa covers tourism, business visits, and short family visits. If you're planning to work, study, or stay longer than 90 days, you need a different visa type — contact the Pakistan embassy in Ljubljana.

What happens at the border

1
Apply for eVisa online
Go to visa.nadra.gov.pk and fill out the application. Upload a passport-style photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the fee online (around $60 USD). Processing usually takes 3–5 working days.
2
Receive and print eVisa
Once approved, you'll get an email with the eVisa PDF. Print a copy and save it on your phone. You'll need to show it at check-in and on arrival.
3
Pack your documents
Carry your printed eVisa, passport, return ticket, and hotel booking confirmation. Keep them in your hand luggage — you'll need them at immigration.
4
Arrive at a Pakistani airport
At Islamabad, Karachi, or Lahore airport, follow signs to 'Foreign Passports' or 'eVisa' counters. Hand over your passport and eVisa printout. The officer will stamp you in. Expect a brief interview — they may ask your hotel name and return flight details.
