If you hold a Slovak passport, you'll need an eVisa to enter Pakistan in 2026. The entire application is online through the official government portal, and approval usually takes a few business days. Plan ahead — you'll need a valid passport, a return ticket, and a confirmed booking for your first night's stay.

Entry requirements

RequirementDetailsStatus
eVisa application
Pakistan eVisa
Apply online at the Pakistan eVisa portal before departure. Processing takes 7–10 working days for most nationalities. Print the approval letter and carry a copy with you — immigration at Karachi and Islamabad will ask to see it.Apply for eVisaRequired
Valid passport
Passport validity
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended departure date from Pakistan. Airlines check this at check-in — if your passport expires sooner, you will be denied boarding.Required
Return or onward ticket
Proof of onward travel
Immigration officers at all Pakistani airports routinely ask for a confirmed return or onward ticket. If you cannot show one, you may be refused entry and sent back on the next flight.Required
Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or invitation letter
Have a hotel reservation or a letter of invitation from your host in Pakistan ready. Immigration may ask where you are staying — a printed booking confirmation works best.Recommended
Proof of funds
Financial means
Carry evidence of sufficient funds for your stay — around $200–$300 USD per week is a safe benchmark. Bank statements or a credit card with a decent limit usually satisfy the officer.Recommended
eVisa is mandatory — no visa on arrival
Slovak passport holders cannot get a visa on arrival in Pakistan. You must apply for and receive an eVisa before your flight. Start the process at least 2 weeks ahead.
Passport validity counts from entry date
Your passport must be valid for 6 months from the day you land in Pakistan, not from your departure date. If it expires sooner, renew it before applying.

What happens at the border

1
Apply for the eVisa online
Go to visa.nadra.gov.pk, create an account, fill in the application form, upload your passport scan and photo, and pay the fee. Processing usually takes 3–5 business days. You'll receive the approved eVisa by email — print a copy to carry with you.
2
Pack your documents
Before heading to the airport, gather: your printed eVisa, passport (valid 6+ months), return ticket confirmation, first night hotel booking, and travel insurance documents. Keep them in your carry-on.
3
Arrive at a Pakistani airport
You'll land at Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, or another international airport. Go to the immigration counter for foreign passport holders. Present your passport and printed eVisa. The officer may ask for your return ticket and hotel booking — have them ready.
4
Clear immigration and collect luggage
After the officer stamps your passport, you're free to proceed to baggage claim. Then head to customs — declare any large amounts of cash or restricted items. Exit into the arrivals hall.
