Apply early — no walk-in visas
There is no visa-on-arrival for Thai passport holders. You must get approval online before you travel. Processing can take up to 2 weeks, so don't leave it to the last minute.
Keep digital copies of everything
Save your visa approval, passport photo, and hotel booking as PDFs or screenshots on your phone. If you lose the paper copies, you'll still have them handy at the border.

Apply for your visa online
Go to the official Israeli visa portal (https://israel-entry.piba.gov.il) and fill out the application. You'll need your passport details, travel dates, and accommodation info. Pay the fee and submit. Processing usually takes 5–14 business days.

Wait for approval
Check your email and the portal for updates. Once approved, download and print the visa approval letter. Keep a digital copy on your phone too.

Prepare your documents for the border
At Ben Gurion Airport (TLV), you'll queue for passport control. Have your passport, visa approval, return ticket, and first night hotel confirmation ready. The officer may ask a few questions — answer clearly and calmly.

Enter Israel
After a brief interview, you'll get an entry stamp (or a small card) valid for the duration of your visa. Keep it with your passport — you'll need it when leaving.
