Proof of accommodation

Carry a hotel reservation confirmation or a letter of invitation from your host in Nigeria. Immigration may ask where you are staying, especially if you arrive without a clear itinerary.Recommended
Proof of funds
Bank statement or cash
Have a bank statement showing at least $1,000 USD (or equivalent in THB) for a short stay, or a credit card with sufficient limit. Immigration rarely asks, but it helps if questioned.Recommended
Yellow fever vaccination is mandatory
You must show proof of yellow fever vaccination (yellow card) upon arrival. Without it, you may be denied entry or forced to get vaccinated at the airport at your own expense.
eVisa processing times vary
Apply at least 3 weeks before your trip. Processing can take 5–10 business days, but delays happen. Don't book non-refundable flights until you have the visa in hand.

What happens at the border
