Panama entry requirements for Thailand passport holders
Thai passport holders can visit Panama without a visa for up to 90 days. This applies to tourism, business meetings, or short stays. Your passport must be valid for at least six months from your arrival date.
Entry requirements
| Requirement | Details | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Valid passport Must be valid for the duration of your stay | Your passport needs to be valid for at least the full 90 days you plan to stay in Panama. Airlines at Bangkok check this before boarding — if your passport expires sooner, you'll be denied boarding. | Required |
| Return or onward ticket Proof of departure from Panama | Immigration at Tocumen Airport asks for a return or onward ticket within 90 days. Airlines enforce this strictly — without one, you won't get a boarding pass in Thailand. | Required |
| Proof of accommodation Hotel booking or host invitation | Have a printed hotel reservation or a letter from your host ready. Immigration officers occasionally ask for it, especially if you arrive without a clear itinerary. | Recommended |
| Proof of funds Show you can support yourself | Officers may ask for bank statements or cash. Carry at least $500 USD or equivalent in Thai baht — enough to cover accommodation and expenses for a few weeks. | Recommended |
