What happens at the border

1
Apply for e-Visa online
Go to the official Kosovo e-Visa portal (e-viza.rks-gov.net). Fill in your personal details, upload a passport-style photo and a scan of your passport's bio page. Pay the visa fee (around €30–€50 depending on processing speed) by credit card. You'll receive a confirmation email within a few minutes.
2
Wait for approval
Processing usually takes 3–5 business days. Check your email (including spam folder) for the approval letter. Print a copy or save it on your phone — you'll need to show it at the border.
3
Prepare your documents for travel
Before you leave, gather: your passport (valid 6+ months), printed or digital visa approval, return flight booking, first-night hotel confirmation, and travel insurance. Keep them in a folder or on your phone for quick access.
4
Arrive at Pristina International Airport
At passport control, hand over your passport and visa approval. The officer may ask for your return ticket and hotel address. Answer clearly. They'll stamp you in — usually for up to 90 days, but check your visa for the exact duration.
