What happens at the border

1
Apply for eVisa online
Go to the official Cameroon eVisa website (evisacameroon.com). Fill in your personal and travel details, upload a passport photo and a copy of your passport data page. Pay the fee with a credit or debit card. Processing usually takes 3-5 business days.
2
Receive and print eVisa
Once approved, you'll get the eVisa by email. Print a copy and also save it on your phone. You'll need to show it at check-in and on arrival in Cameroon.
3
Arrive at Yaoundé or Douala airport
Most international flights land at Yaoundé Nsimalen International Airport (NSI) or Douala International Airport (DLA). Follow signs to immigration. Have your passport, eVisa, return ticket, and accommodation proof ready.
4
Go through immigration
An officer will check your documents, take your fingerprints, and stamp your passport. The process usually takes 5-10 minutes. Answer questions clearly — they may ask about your purpose of visit and where you're staying.
5
Collect luggage and exit
After immigration, pick up your bags from the carousel, then proceed through customs. If you have nothing to declare, use the green channel. You're now free to enter Cameroon.
