Turkish passport holders can enter Belarus without a visa for tourism or business stays up to 30 days. This policy is valid through 2026. At the border, you need to meet a few clear requirements.

Entry requirements

RequirementDetailsStatus
Valid passport
Must be valid for the duration of your stay
Your passport needs to be valid for the entire time you plan to stay in Belarus. No minimum validity beyond your departure date is required by Belarusian law, but some airlines may still ask for 6 months — check with your carrier before check-in.Required
Return or onward ticket
Proof of departure from Belarus
Immigration officers at Minsk National Airport routinely ask for a confirmed onward or return ticket. Have a printed or digital copy ready — they may deny boarding if you cannot show one.Recommended
Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or invitation letter
Border officials may ask where you are staying. A hotel confirmation or a notarized invitation from a Belarusian host (if staying with friends/family) covers this. Keep a copy on your phone or printed.Recommended
Proof of funds
Show you can support yourself during the stay
Officers can request evidence of sufficient funds — roughly €50 per day of stay. A bank statement or credit card with available limit usually satisfies them.Recommended
Passport validity is strictly enforced
Belarusian border officers check that your passport is valid for at least 6 months from your entry date. If it's even one day short, you will be refused entry. Double-check your passport's expiry before booking flights.
No visa, no registration — simple entry
Unlike some other visa-free countries, Belarus does not require you to register with migration authorities for stays under 30 days. Just show up with your passport and return ticket.

What happens at the border

1
Arrive at the border
At Minsk National Airport (MSQ) or any land border crossing, join the 'Foreign Passports' queue. Have your passport and return ticket ready.
2
Present your documents
Hand over your passport. The officer will check your passport validity, scan it, and may ask for your return ticket or accommodation. Answer clearly and briefly.
3
Receive your entry stamp
The officer stamps your passport with the entry date and the maximum stay (30 days). Check the stamp before stepping away. Keep the stamp visible — you'll need it when leaving.
4
Exit the arrivals area
After the stamp, collect your luggage (if any) and proceed through customs. There are no additional forms to fill for Turkish citizens.
