Cash only — no cards accepted

Land at Kotoka International Airport (ACC)
After deplaning, follow signs to 'Immigration' or 'Visa on Arrival'. There's a dedicated counter for visa-on-arrival applicants — usually near the main immigration desks. Have your passport, return ticket, and accommodation proof ready.

Fill out the visa application form
You'll be given a short form to complete. It asks for basic info: name, passport number, flight details, address in Ghana. Fill it in while queuing to save time. A pen is handy — the counters sometimes run out.

Pay the visa fee
At the payment counter, hand over your passport and the fee in cash (USD, EUR, or GBP). They'll give you a receipt. Keep it safe — you'll need it later.

Get your visa sticker and passport stamped
After payment, proceed to the immigration officer. They'll check your documents, take a photo and fingerprints, then stamp your passport. The whole process takes 15–30 minutes depending on queue length.

Collect luggage and exit
Once stamped, head to baggage claim, then customs. There's a 'Nothing to Declare' channel if you're not carrying restricted items. After that, you're free to enter Ghana.
