Importation of used clothing (locally known as 'fokpa') and used shoes for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited. Personal used clothing in reasonable quantities may be allowed if declared.
Currency Declaration
All travellers entering or leaving Liberia must declare cash or monetary instruments exceeding USD 10,000 (or equivalent) on the Customs Declaration Form. Failure to declare can result in seizure and penalties.
Duty-Free Shop Purchases
Duty-free allowances apply only to goods purchased abroad or in duty-free shops. Goods bought in Liberia's duty-free shops at the airport are subject to the same limits as those bought abroad.
