Passport validityIf your passport expires sooner, you may be denied boarding or entry.
At least 6 months from arrival
Your Taiwan passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended date of arrival in Oman. Ensure your passport meets this requirement before traveling.Required
Blank passport pagesOmani immigration will stamp your passport on arrival, so a blank page is mandatory.
At least 1 blank page
Your passport must have at least 1 blank visa page (not counting the endorsement pages) for the entry stamp. It is wise to have more than one blank page in case of additional stamps.Required
Return or onward ticketA booked flight out of Oman is usually required to prove you are a genuine visitor.
Proof of departure
You must be able to show a confirmed return or onward ticket proving you will leave Oman before your permitted stay expires. This is commonly requested at check-in or by immigration.Required
Proof of fundsImmigration may ask to see that you can support yourself financially while in Oman.
Sufficient money for your stay
You should be able to demonstrate that you have sufficient funds to cover your accommodation and living expenses during your stay in Oman. This is not always checked, but be prepared to show cash, credit cards, or bank statements if asked.Recommended

Not required for visa-free entry
Since you are eligible for visa-free entry, you do not need to apply for an e-visa through the Royal Oman Police e-visa portal. However, if you plan to stay longer than the visa-free period, you must apply for a proper visa before travel. Not required
Passport validity is strictly enforced
Oman requires your passport to be valid for at least 6 months from your arrival date. Airlines check this before boarding, so don't risk it — renew your passport if it's close to expiring.
14-day stay is not extendable
The visa-free entry is for a maximum of 14 days and cannot be extended. If you overstay, you'll face fines. If you need more time, apply for a proper visa before you travel via the official e-visa portal.

What happens at the border

1
Arrive at Muscat International Airport
After landing, follow the signs to 'Arrivals' and join the queue for 'Foreign Passports'. There are separate lanes for GCC nationals and others — make sure you're in the right line.
2
Present your passport at immigration
Hand over your passport to the officer. They'll check your validity, may ask about your stay, and then stamp you in. The process usually takes 2-3 minutes.
3
Collect your luggage and exit
After the stamp, proceed to baggage claim, then walk through the green 'Nothing to Declare' channel if you have no restricted items. You're now free to enter Oman.
