What happens at the border

1
Arrive at Muscat or other airport
After landing, follow signs to 'Visa on Arrival' or 'Immigration'. At Muscat International Airport, the visa counter is just before passport control. Join the queue, hand over your passport, and pay the 20 OMR fee. You will get a visa sticker in your passport, then proceed to immigration.
2
Present documents at immigration
At the immigration desk, hand over your passport with the visa sticker. The officer may ask for your return ticket or hotel booking. Answer any questions clearly. They will stamp you in, and you are free to go.
3
Collect luggage and exit
After immigration, collect your bags from the carousel, then walk through customs. There is usually no customs check unless you have something to declare.
