Go to https://evisa.kdmid.ru/ and create an account. Fill in your personal details, upload a passport-style photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the visa fee (around $50–$80 depending on nationality). Submit and wait for approval — typically 2–3 weeks.

Prepare your documents
Print or save to your phone: the approved e-visa (PDF), your passport, return ticket, and hotel booking. Keep them together in a folder or a notes app.

Arrive at a Russian airport
At passport control, hand over your passport and the e-visa printout (or show it on your phone). The officer will scan your passport and stamp you in. Common entry points: Moscow Sheremetyevo (SVO), Domodedovo (DME), St Petersburg Pulkovo (LED).
