What happens at the border

Land at Muscat or Salalah airport
After deplaning, follow signs to 'Arrivals' and then 'Visa on Arrival' or 'Immigration'. At Muscat International, the visa counter is just before passport control.

Queue at the visa on arrival counter
Hand over your passport, return ticket (printed or on phone), and accommodation confirmation. The officer will process payment (20 OMR) and issue a sticker.

Proceed to passport control
Show your passport with the new visa sticker. The officer will stamp you in. Keep the entry stamp — you'll need it when leaving.

Collect luggage and exit
After passport control, grab your bags from the carousel and walk through customs. No arrival declaration form needed.
