Entry requirements

RequirementDetailsStatus
eVisa application
Pakistan eVisa
Apply for a Pakistan eVisa at visa.nadra.gov.pk before you travel. Processing takes 7–10 working days for most nationalities. Print the approval letter and carry it with your passport — immigration at Islamabad and Karachi will ask to see it.Apply for eVisaRequired
Valid passport
Must be valid for 6 months beyond your intended stay
Your Ukrainian passport needs at least 6 months of validity from your planned departure date from Pakistan. Airlines check this at check-in — if your passport expires sooner, you will be denied boarding.Required
Return or onward ticket
Proof of departure from Pakistan
Immigration officers at Pakistani airports routinely ask for a confirmed onward or return ticket. Have a printed copy or a screenshot ready on your phone. A flight reservation within 30 days of arrival works best.Required
Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or invitation letter
Carry a hotel confirmation or a letter from your host in Pakistan. Immigration may ask where you are staying, especially if you arrive without a pre-booked hotel. A simple booking printout is enough.Recommended
Proof of funds
Bank statement or cash
Have a bank statement showing at least $500 USD or the equivalent in Pakistani rupees. Immigration rarely checks this for short visits, but having it ready avoids delays.Recommended
eVisa only — no visa on arrival for Ukrainians
Ukrainians cannot get a visa on arrival in Pakistan. You must apply and receive approval before you travel. The eVisa is the only option for tourism or business visits.
Passport validity is strictly enforced
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your entry date. If it expires sooner, your eVisa will be rejected. Renew your passport first.

What happens at the border

1
Apply for the eVisa online
Go to the official Pakistan eVisa portal at visa.nadra.gov.pk. Fill in the application form, upload your passport photo and passport scan, and pay the fee. Processing usually takes 3–5 working days.
2
Receive and print your eVisa
Once approved, you'll receive the eVisa by email. Print a copy and also save it on your phone. You'll need to show it at the immigration counter.
3
Arrive at a Pakistani airport
Major entry points include Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, and Peshawar airports. At immigration, present your passport, printed eVisa, and return ticket. The officer will stamp your passport and let you through.
4
Collect your luggage and exit
After clearing immigration, proceed to baggage claim, then customs. If you have nothing to declare, use the green channel. Keep your documents handy in case of random checks.
