Ukrainian passport holders need an eVisa to enter Uganda. The application is entirely online, and you'll get approval by email before you travel. As of 2026, the process is straightforward — just make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months from your arrival date.

Apply for the eVisa online
Go to visas.immigration.go.ug, fill in your personal and passport details, upload a passport-style photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the fee (around $50 USD for a single-entry tourist visa) with a credit or debit card. You'll receive a confirmation email.

Wait for approval
Processing usually takes 2–5 business days. Check your email (including spam) for the approval letter. Print it or save a copy on your phone.

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport
When you land, head to the immigration hall. Have your passport, eVisa approval, return ticket, and accommodation booking ready. The officer will stamp you in — typically for up to 90 days.

Collect your luggage and exit
After immigration, pick up your bags from the carousel, then walk through customs. If you have nothing to declare, use the green channel.
