Arrive at Bauerfield International Airport (VLI)
Most flights land at Port Vila's Bauerfield Airport. After disembarking, follow signs to the immigration hall. Queue at the 'Foreign Passports' counter.

Present documents to immigration officer
Hand over your passport, completed arrival card (given on the plane), and return ticket if asked. The officer will check your passport validity and stamp you in. No visa fee is charged.

Receive entry stamp and proceed
The officer will stamp your passport with a visitor permit valid for up to 120 days. Keep the stamp visible — you'll need it when leaving. Then collect your luggage and go through customs.
