No visa on arrival — plan ahead
Ugandan citizens cannot get a visa on arrival in the Republic of the Congo. You must have a visa issued by an embassy or consulate before you board your flight. Airlines may refuse boarding without a valid visa.
Yellow fever certificate is mandatory
You will be asked for your yellow fever vaccination certificate at immigration. If you don't have it, you could be denied entry or forced to get vaccinated on the spot (if available). Get the vaccine at least 10 days before travel.
Visas are not extendable
Once in the Republic of the Congo, you cannot extend your visa. Overstaying can result in fines, detention, or deportation. Make sure your visa covers your entire stay.
