Financial means
Have bank statements or a credit card showing you can cover your stay. Officers rarely ask, but if they do, show at least $100 USD per day of your trip.Recommended
Cash only for visa on arrival
The visa fee must be paid in cash (USD or XCD). Cards are not accepted. Bring small bills — officers may not have change for $100 notes.

What happens at the border

1
Arrive at Hewanorra or George F. L. Charles Airport
You'll land at either Hewanorra International (UVF) near Vieux Fort or George F. L. Charles (SLU) near Castries. Follow signs to Immigration.
2
Queue at the Visa on Arrival counter
Look for the 'Visa on Arrival' or 'Immigration' counter. Hand over your passport, return ticket, and accommodation confirmation. The officer will process your visa.
3
Pay the visa fee
Pay in cash (USD or XCD). Keep small bills — officers may not have change for large notes. You'll receive a receipt.
4
Get your passport stamped
The officer will stamp your passport with the visa. Check the stamp says the correct entry date and allowed stay (usually up to 6 weeks, but confirm at the counter).
5
Proceed to Baggage Claim and Customs
After immigration, collect your bags and pass through customs. You're free to enter Saint Lucia.
