Entry ban — recent travel to DRC/Uganda/South Sudan (Ebola)
Since 2026-06-06, Mauritius bans entry for anyone who has been in DR Congo, Uganda, or South Sudan within the last 21 days, due to an Ebola outbreak. Mauritian citizens/residents are allowed in but face mandatory 21-day quarantine. This applies regardless of your passport type or visa status. Yellow fever certificate is mandatory
If you're arriving from Uganda, you must have a valid yellow fever vaccination certificate. Without it, you could be refused entry or placed in quarantine. Get the vaccine at least 10 days before travel.
