Zimbabwe entry requirements for Uganda passport holders
Ugandan passport holders can visit Zimbabwe visa-free for tourism or business stays up to 90 days. This arrangement is valid through 2026. Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months from your entry date and carry a return or onward ticket.
Entry requirements
| Requirement | Details | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Valid passport Must be valid for the duration of your stay | Your passport needs to be valid for at least the full period you plan to stay in Zimbabwe. Airlines at Entebbe check this before boarding — if your passport expires sooner, you'll be denied boarding. | Required |
| Return or onward ticket Proof of departure from Zimbabwe | Immigration officers at Harare and Victoria Falls ask for a return or onward ticket before they stamp you in. Have a printed or digital copy of your flight booking ready — they check this at the counter. | Recommended |
| Proof of accommodation Hotel booking or host invitation | Carry a printed hotel confirmation or a letter from your host. Officers occasionally ask where you're staying, especially if you arrive without a clear itinerary. | Recommended |
| Proof of funds Sufficient money for your stay | Have access to at least $300 USD or equivalent in cash, card, or bank statement. Immigration may ask how you'll support yourself — showing a credit card or cash usually satisfies them. | Recommended |
