Strict drug laws
Singapore has a zero‑tolerance policy on drugs. Possession of even small amounts of certain substances can lead to a mandatory death sentence. Do not bring any drugs, including cannabis, into the country. Prescription medications must be accompanied by a doctor’s note.
Automated lanes for frequent visitors
If you've visited Singapore at least twice in the past two years, you may be eligible to register for the automated clearance system (e‑gates) at Changi. First‑time visitors must use the manned counters. Registration is free and can be done on arrival at the e‑gate enrollment kiosk.

Arrive at Changi Airport (or other entry point)
At Changi, follow signs to 'Foreign Visitors' at immigration. Have your passport and printed/digital arrival card confirmation ready. First‑time visitors won't have access to the automated e‑gates – you'll go to a manned counter.

Clear immigration and get your entry stamp
An officer will scan your passport, take your fingerprints, and ask a few simple questions (purpose of visit, where you're staying). They'll then stamp your passport with the date you must leave (usually 90 days from arrival).
