Apply for e-visa online
Go to evisa.go.ke, create an account, fill the application form, upload your passport photo and passport bio page, and pay the fee (around $50 USD). Processing takes 2-5 business days. You'll receive the e-visa by email as a PDF.

Print your e-visa
Print the e-visa PDF — you'll need to show it at check-in and at Kenyan immigration. Keep a digital copy on your phone as backup.

Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO)
After landing, follow signs to 'Visas' or 'Immigration'. Join the queue for 'Foreign Passports'. Have your passport, e-visa, and return ticket ready. The officer will stamp your passport with a 30-day entry permit. The process usually takes 15-30 minutes.

Proceed to baggage claim and customs
After immigration, collect your luggage and pass through customs. If you have nothing to declare, you can use the green channel. Then you're free to exit the arrivals hall.

Transiting through Kenya
Transit visa required
All transit passengers, including those staying airside, must obtain a transit eTA before travel. The eTA is valid for a single entry and allows a maximum stay of 72 hours.
