What happens at the border

Arrive at Hewanorra or George F. L. Charles Airport
Most flights land at Hewanorra International Airport (UVF) near Vieux Fort. After deplaning, follow signs to 'Immigration'. The queue moves steadily; have your passport and return ticket ready.
2
Present documents at immigration counter
Hand over your passport and any requested documents (return ticket, accommodation proof). The officer will ask your purpose and length of stay. Answer clearly. They'll stamp your passport with a 42-day entry.
3
Collect luggage and proceed to customs
After immigration, pick up your bags from the carousel. Customs is usually quick — declare any items over the duty-free limit. Then exit into the arrivals hall.
