Transiting through Cuba
Uzbek citizens transiting through Cuba (even airside) generally require a visa or tourist card. However, if you remain in the international transit area and have a confirmed onward ticket within 24 hours, you may be allowed to transit without a visa, but this is at the discretion of Cuban immigration. It is strongly recommended to obtain a tourist card in advance.
- Holders of diplomatic or official passports may be exempt.
- Passengers with a confirmed onward ticket and no need to clear immigration may be allowed airside transit without a visa for up to 24 hours.
