What happens at the border

1
Complete the online application
Go to the UK Visas and Immigration website, create an account, and fill out the visa application form. You'll need your passport details, travel plans, and personal history. Save your application ID and reference number.
2

After submitting the form, book an appointment at the nearest UK visa application centre (e.g., in Tashkent). Attend on the scheduled date with your printed application, passport, photos, and supporting documents. You'll give fingerprints and a photo.
3
Submit supporting documents
Hand in your passport and all required documents at the application centre. They will be scanned and forwarded to the UK Visas and Immigration office for processing.
4
Wait for processing
Standard processing takes about 3 weeks, but it can be longer during peak seasons. You can track your application online using your reference number.
5
Receive your passport and visa
Once a decision is made, your passport will be returned to you either by courier or for collection at the application centre. Check the visa vignette for correct dates and details before travelling.
