Moldova entry requirements for Uzbekistan passport holders
Uzbek citizens can visit Moldova without a visa for up to 90 days. This has been the case since 2019 and covers tourism, business, and short visits. Just make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months from your arrival date.
Entry requirements
| Requirement | Details | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Valid passport Must be valid for the duration of your stay | Your passport needs to be valid for the entire time you plan to stay in Moldova. No minimum validity beyond your departure date is required by Moldovan law, but airlines may ask for 6 months validity — check with your carrier before flying. | Required |
| Return or onward ticket Proof of departure from Moldova | Immigration officers at Chișinău Airport routinely ask for a return or onward ticket showing you leave within 90 days. Have a printed or digital copy ready — they check this before stamping you in. | Recommended |
| Proof of accommodation Hotel booking or host invitation | Have a hotel confirmation, Airbnb reservation, or a letter from your host with their address and contact number. Officers rarely ask for it, but if you look uncertain, they may request proof of where you're staying. | Recommended |
| Proof of funds Show you can support yourself | Carry a bank statement or credit card showing access to funds — roughly €50 per day of stay is a safe benchmark. Moldova rarely enforces this for short visits, but having a printout avoids delays if asked. | Recommended |
