Kosovo border officers sometimes ask for a return or onward ticket. Have a printed or digital copy ready showing your exit from Kosovo or the Schengen area.Recommended

Have bank statements or cash ready — around €100–150 per day of stay. Border officers rarely check, but it's safer to have evidence of sufficient funds.Recommended
Visa required — apply well in advance
Uzbek passport holders cannot enter Kosovo without a pre-approved visa. There is no visa on arrival or visa waiver. Start your application at least 2 weeks before your trip.
Keep digital copies of everything
Save your visa approval, return ticket, and hotel booking as PDFs on your phone and in cloud storage. If you lose internet access, you'll still have them.

What happens at the border

1
Apply for the visa online
Go to e-viza.rks-gov.net, fill out the application form, upload your passport scan and a passport-sized photo, and pay the fee (around €30-50 depending on processing speed). Processing usually takes 5-10 business days.
2
Wait for approval
You'll receive an email with your visa approval. Print it or save a PDF on your phone. Without this, you won't be allowed to board your flight.
3
Prepare your documents for travel
Before you leave, gather: your passport (6+ months validity), printed visa approval, return ticket, accommodation booking, and travel insurance. Keep them in your carry-on.
4
Arrive at Pristina International Airport
At immigration, present your passport and visa approval. The officer may ask for your return ticket and hotel booking. Answer clearly — they're checking you have a reason to leave. The process usually takes 5-10 minutes.
