What happens at the border

1
Apply for the e-Visa
Go to e-visa.by/en/ and fill out the online application. You'll need a scanned copy of your passport bio page, a passport-style photo, and details of your accommodation. Pay the fee (around $60–80 depending on processing speed). Wait up to 5 business days for approval. Print the visa confirmation.
2
Prepare your documents for the border
Before you queue at immigration, have your passport, printed e-Visa, return ticket, and accommodation confirmation ready. Keep them in a clear plastic folder so you can hand them over quickly.
3
Arrive at Minsk National Airport (MSQ)
After landing, follow signs to 'Passport Control'. Join the queue for foreign nationals. Hand over your documents when called. The officer will check your visa, stamp your passport, and ask a few questions (purpose of visit, where you're staying). Answer honestly and briefly. You'll be through in 5–10 minutes.
4
Collect your luggage and exit
After passport control, head to baggage claim. Then walk through the green 'Nothing to Declare' channel unless you have goods to declare. Outside the arrivals hall you'll find taxis, buses, and ride-hailing pick-up points.
