Zimbabwe passport holders need an eVisa to travel to Papua New Guinea. You must get it before you travel — there is no visa on arrival for Zimbabwean citizens. This rule has been in place since 2026.

Go to the official Papua New Guinea eVisa website. Fill in your personal details, passport info, and travel dates. Upload a digital passport photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the fee (around $50 USD) by credit card. You'll receive a confirmation email within a few days.

Wait for approval
Processing usually takes 3–5 business days. Check your email (including spam) for the approval letter. Print a copy and save a PDF on your phone.

Arrive at the airport in Papua New Guinea
At Port Moresby's Jacksons International Airport, proceed to the immigration counter. Hand over your passport and printed eVisa. The officer will stamp you in. Have your return ticket and accommodation booking ready just in case.
