What happens at the border

1
Prepare your documents before flying
Check your passport validity (6 months), blank page, and yellow fever certificate. Print or save your return ticket and hotel booking on your phone.
2
Arrive at Kigali International Airport (KGL)
Follow the signs to 'Immigration' after landing. Join the queue for 'Foreign Passports' — there's no separate visa line for Zimbabweans since you're visa-free.
3
Present your passport to the immigration officer
Hand over your passport. The officer will check your details, may ask about your stay and accommodation, then stamp your passport with a 30-day entry permit. This usually takes 2–5 minutes.
4
Collect your luggage and exit
After the stamp, proceed to baggage claim, then customs. You're free to enter Rwanda.
