What happens at the border

1
Apply for the eVisa online
Go to e-visa.gov.uz and fill out the application. You'll need your passport details, travel dates, and accommodation info. Upload a passport-style photo and pay the fee (around $20 USD). Processing usually takes 2-3 business days.
2
Receive and save your eVisa
Once approved, you'll get a PDF via email. Print a copy and also save it on your phone. The eVisa is linked to your passport number, so you don't need to carry the paper, but it's safer to have it.
3
Arrive at the airport in Uzbekistan
At Tashkent International Airport (or other entry points), go to the immigration counter. Hand over your passport and the eVisa printout or show it on your phone. The officer will scan your passport and stamp you in. Keep your return ticket and accommodation confirmation ready in case they ask.
4
Complete the arrival process
After the stamp, collect your luggage and proceed through customs. There's no separate arrival declaration form for most tourists. You're free to enter.
