At land borders like Encarnación or Ciudad del Este, the process is similar. You'll walk up to the immigration booth, hand over your passport, and get a stamp. Keep your passport accessible — don't bury it in your bag.

When leaving, go through immigration again. They'll stamp you out. No exit fee. If you overstayed, you'll need to pay a fine at the immigration office before departure.
