Transiting through United Kingdom
Brazilian nationals generally require a Visitor in Transit visa to pass through UK immigration control when changing airports or leaving the airport. However, if you stay airside (do not pass through UK border control) and have a confirmed onward flight within 24 hours, you may be exempt under the 'Transit Without Visa' (TWOV) scheme.
- Holders of a valid UK, EU, US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or Ireland visa or residence permit may transit without a visa.
- Holders of a valid Schengen visa (with certain conditions) may transit without a visa.
- If you have a confirmed onward flight and stay airside, you do not need a visa for up to 24 hours.
