eVisa required — no visa on arrival
Ivory Coast passport holders cannot get a visa on arrival in Uzbekistan. You must apply and receive approval online before you fly. Give yourself at least a week for processing.
Passport validity counts from entry date
Your passport must be valid for 6 months from the day you enter Uzbekistan, not from when you apply. If your passport expires sooner, renew it before applying for the eVisa.

What happens at the border

1
Apply for the eVisa online
Go to e-visa.gov.uz and fill out the application. Upload a passport-style photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the fee (around $20 USD) by card. Processing takes 2–3 business days. You'll receive the eVisa by email.
2
Pack your documents
Print or save on your phone: the eVisa approval email, your passport, return flight booking, and first-night hotel confirmation. Keep them together in a folder or a clear phone album.
3
Arrive at Tashkent International Airport
After landing, follow signs to 'Passport Control'. Join the queue for foreign passports. Hand over your passport and eVisa printout (or show on phone). The officer will check your documents, stamp your passport, and wave you through. Expect a short wait — 10–20 minutes typically.
4
Collect luggage and exit
After passport control, head to baggage claim. Then proceed through customs (green channel if nothing to declare). You're in.
